Cold Laser Therapy
Low Level Laser Therapy
Cold Laser utilizes light in the visible spectrum (850nm – red light) which will penetrate through the skin and be absorbed by deeper tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves). The light energy is then converted into chemical or cellular energy by stimulating the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) as well as increasing microcirculation and decreasing the concentration of inflammatory markers, thereby reducing pain. This can be helpful in improving acute and chronic pain as well as promoting speed and quality of tissue healing and repair.
